Position Summary: The AP Accountant position is responsible for the general accounting function in a designated BorgWarner location, including accounts payable and receivables. The individual will prepare, analyze and track financial schedules, statements, budgets, forecasts and estimates in accordance with U.S. GAAP; investigate account discrepancies; prepare and adjust journal entries, prepare necessary reports, and assist management with special accounting projects Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Review and monitor requests for payment from vendors, employee claims and intercompany transactions. Timely and thorough follow up on all invoice discrepancies, and differences between invoiced and received transactions (GRIR) Ensure the relevant accounting complies with US GAAP, PRC GAAP, and Company Policy. Insure that all internal controls are kept current and followed in every case. Ensure timely monthly closing and accurate monthly financial reporting. Ensure compliance with corporate financial reporting policies . Handle tax filing and related government reporting Perform ad hoc analysis; reporting or projects assigned by management team and supervisor Any other tasks assigned by supervisor Makes safety cost aside in Finance, and guarantee for safety usage. Ensure TRIR & GSSF to reach yearly target Requirements/Qualifications: College Degree or above with major in Finance or accounting More than 2 years working experience in manufacture environment SAP experience is preferred. Good PC skill Good English skills (oral and written) Positive thinking on own job for job efficiency improvement Able to work independent and as a team player Good work attitude, flexible to welcome new assignments |
